If you’re like most PC users, you’ve grown up using Microsoft Windows and Office and it would probably be tough to think about using a different OS. Maybe I’m projecting, but at least that’s how I feel.

Luckily, there are now some amazing deal on Windows tablets available for the holidays, which can allow you to use all of the Word apps you’re used to while maintaining the advantage of easy mobility. While there are a number of options in this category out there, a couple in particular jump out at me.

E FUN Nextbook 10.1-inch Windows hybrid tablet Probably the best deal of all – and I mean of ANY tablets, not just tablets with the Windows OS - is the E FUN Nextbook 10.1-inch Windows hybrid tablet from Walmart for $179. What's so great about this deal is that it's actually a hybrid tablet and laptop, as it includes a detachable keyboard in the price. So it can be a tablet one minute and then you just swivel it around, attach a keyboard, and voila, now it’s a PC. Microsoft's Surface Tablet - which also costs hundreds more to begin with - charges an extra $125 for the detachable keyboard.

The specs for this neat little gadget are fairly impressive as well. The Nextbook has a 1280x800 display with a 1.83 GHz Intel Atom quad-core processor. Inside, there's 1 GB of RAM, 32 GB of onboard storage with a MicroSD card slot, an HDMI port and a microUSB port. It also has a 2 MP rear camera and a 0.3 front facing camera. In addition to Windows 8.1, the tablet will offer users a 1 year free subscription to Office 365 Personal which includes 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage.

Asus Transformer Book T100TAF The other really nice deal out there for Windows users is the The Asus Transformer Book T100TAF hybrid notebook/tablet for $249. It can be ordered directly from the Microsoft website and can also be purchased at a Microsoft retail outlet, and while it's usually $329, Microsoft has discounted it to $249. Like the Nextbook, it is 10.1 inches and comes with a detachable keyboard as well as a free one year subscription to Microsoft 365.

The T100TAF has a 1366 x 768-pixel HD resolution Transformer and is powered by an Intel Atom Z3735F processor. It has 2GB of memory, 32GB of storage via an eMMC flash drive and has an excellent battery life at up to 11 hours fully charged.

All in all, if you're looking for a hybrid tablet/laptop that will let you work on your regular Office apps, either of these two products are great deals.
