Big Data. This massive gathering and analyzing of data in real time is allowing us to not only address some of humanity biggest challenges but is also helping create a new kind of planetary nervous system. Yet as Edward Snowden and the release of the Prism documents have shown, the accessibility of all these data comes at a steep price. This documentary captures the promise and peril of this extraordinary knowledge revolution - Big Data Revolution.THIS IS A COPY OF ORIGINAL VIDEOCLIP THAT CAN BE FOUND HERE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahNdJdf867A
The music drives me crazy
AI algorithms have been around since the 80s and 90s, but just now they have enough data to work with, which is quite exciting! It seems important to democratize and keep personal data private (using cryptography), so that the new, small AI companies can use it too. Google, FB, Microsoft can make great products, but they are also limited by their business model.
so if things send out data..all of them...why do they do it in the first place? who is listening to all of this data?? God in quran and bible says He is all knowledgeable so that mean He has access to all this data and only He can fully make sense of it.
hey bob, I was looking at the big data, and I noticed that when your factory emits those emissions in winter time, I noticed that the weather is changing a few sectors away, we are going to need you to stop doing that, thanks.
I want to incorporate a Phd thesis in big data and education, but I am not sure where to start and I don't think Universities are offering advanced programs in big data and education. If anyone knows where let me know. MIT?
decentralized, distributed big data analysis = SingularityNET (AGI)
Great piece of Info...
so who am I, I'm a data produce machine and I 'm made up of a group of data. the world only recognise my ID number, my google web history and so on. My height, my weight, my face is only a series of figures.
Abrupt ending XD
Dorsey, what a piece of shit.
BGM is too fucking loud
Incredible documentary! Why isn't this front page news?!
who was the moron that edited this? I can't hear anything anyone is saying over the music.
Wow!! Why could'nt all this Data prevent tragedies, such as 9.11
Sacs pride represent. Like if you think computers r shite and that we should use horses
I hate it when the ‘background music’ drowns out the foreground. Bye.
Very interesting information. You're probably collecting what I just said, and that's okay. This data revolution is beneficial to those who have nothing to hide. Putting things into perspective, and displaying them to us in an understandable format is very insightful. Don't fall behind, it's inevitable. Here's to the future.
big data we don't give a fuck what happing back then all we care about is now not back then u retared big data
The music track is so good but that's why it is a distractor.
Jordi GrieraJordi is totally right. The track is too loud. Please correct the music because the information is great and the music is good but it is TOO LOUD. Please correct this because I stop viewing the documentary just because of the music too loud. Either I listen to the voices or to the music.
