Linux is awesome. So many choices for every kind of user. I prefer it to Microsoft’s one size fits all approach with Windows
I've used Ubuntu 18.04 , Kubuntu 19.10 and Linux Mint 19.1 .... I just can't decide what to keep . I just want a simple yet fast(light) and beautiful DE , not an edgy "XP" style . Any sugestions?
been with them since 6.x updated too quick per year that it became boring
Linux Mint can suck the BIGGEST nut. Comes out of the box with failing DNS.

It is 2019 and I was just recommended this video!! BUT "how I use my computer, is I am NOT like a lot of other people! For starters I am a insane power user!! I love to edit video, tinker with music and audio files and I create spread sheets write stories and even ingest vast amounts of media!! Everything from music videos to adult content, to video how to stuff, and much, much more!! When I am not using my Excel program to track my latest projects or making a slide show video disk for one of my 5 kids, I am hanging out in YouTube or reading the news, in fact my biggest problem is I can't find ONE COMPUTER that can do it all and it never ends there, as I seem to be the "go to guy" that stores the entire family media and every now and again I am finding myself using my hard drive dock and skills to repair computers as well!! So in the end it is never just about HOW I use a computer as it is HOW MUCH I use a computer!!!! And trust me I am not a programmer though I have tinker with that a little in my past as well! In short there is a LOT I use a computer for which probably explains why I have seven computers in my house!! Three of which are on all the time!!!! So in any number of cases my computer use is NOT limited to just any one function!!
it is very clear , thank for explaining
How I use my computer? I play Sims, GTA and Farcry series.. I used 3DMax, Adobe Photoshop, Blender, 3DMaya and Zmodeler.
so what do i install?
arch linux is hard for the people that are new to linux, i'd say just use ubuntu
Ubuntu is the only linux system. Lİnuxmint may be considered also a linux OS. All other so called distros are garbage, nothing more. Dont waste your time even to try them.
What's the advantage of Antergos over Manjaro?
*is using Ubuntu while watching this video*
an excellent intro, you did well getting a flavor of the different options and reasons for choosing each in just 7 minutes.
