I love Linux Mint too and I use the latest Cinnamon. But I also love and use Solydxk the KDE install. I find it so very stable even though it is a "rolling" release to some degree, but I think every 2 years you have to upgrade.
I switched from GNU/Linux to mac os 3 years ago. best decision ever.
I've been studying Linux for sometime and I'm sold except for one thing: the steep costs of using Linux and open source as a content creator. Can you kindly address this and if you already have can you show me where?
Arch is better than everything
Great video! Your presentation is very smooth, efficient, and easy to follow.Keep up the good work!
what about opensuse ???
Top 10 Linux Builds ? Why not Top 10 best STDs ? Most people don't want either.
I never liked Linux Mint, kinda of always stuck with ubuntu for the community
Manjaro has been #1 at Distrowatch (most downloaded) for a few months now....; not sure if I will check it out over Mint or Debian, however...
No one uses Peppermint.. :)
I grabbed Manjaro ISO from their website, I tried installing in VMWare but VMWare says it couldn't find an OS in the ISO image... Any Ideas people? I also tried creating a bootable USB using Rufus and Universal bootable USB Installer and that didn't work either!!! any ideas?
I'd love to completely ditch windows and switch to Linux, if only Linux had Adobe Creative software... :(
I am using Mint for the last 5 years but still experience issues that were "solved" years before and having newer problems for example with sound drivers :( I wonder if it is worth to switch for Manjaro or something else.
Mint has no match to Manjaro in fabulous interface.
PrathamOS comes with automated kernel upgrade to Kernel 4.17.2, Debian SID And Best Apps Collection Faltpak Snap AppImages
I had problems with mint on my laptop. So I switched it to KDE neon
Started using GNU/Linux in 2009, that's where I discovered Ubuntu 9.04. Loved it as soon as I installed it and I'm using Ubuntu 'till this day. I tried many different distros and still looking out for new ones to test them out but I return to Ubuntu every time and use it as my main OS. I guess it's the habit. It works well for me. I love the new 18.04 with gnome environment. My second distro of choice would be Linux Mint.
I happily left Mint for Zorin 12 and I'll never look back.
