IT Specialist Advisory Services, a division of IT Specialist Network Inc. (ITSN) headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama, provides vendor-neutral IT procurement and technology advisory services. We help businesses and other organizations evaluate and acquire cybersecurity, cloud computing, managed services, information technology, and telecommunications solutions.

The Role

As a growing division, IT Specialist Advisory Services is building a team of experienced partners and prospective co-founders with a background in consultative technology services. This customer-facing role requires professional confidence, initiative, sound judgment, and resourcefulness. As a Senior Trusted Advisor, you will communicate the value of our services, guide prospective clients through the advisory process, and help develop lasting client and vendor relationships.

Your Impact as a Trusted Advisor:

• Identify qualified opportunities, engage prospective and existing clients, and develop long-term advisory relationships rather than transactional sales.
• Generate consultative sales opportunities through ITSN’s network of technical professionals, online communities, strategic relationships, and other business-to-business channels.
• Participate in remote consulting engagements with technical, business, and stakeholder teams through Microsoft Teams or Zoom, with occasional in-person meetings as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary liaison among prospects, clients, technology vendors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop partner-channel and direct-market consulting strategies as business needs require.
• Demonstrate a positive, accountable, and results-oriented approach to client service and business development.

Your Capabilities and Attributes:

• Ability to lead discovery, advisory, and business-development conversations with prospects and clients.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn, evaluate, and communicate complex technologies and business concepts quickly.
• At least five years of experience in IT solutions consulting, technical pre-sales support, software sales, or a related technology role involving organizational decision-makers.
• Strong organizational, computer, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of or practical experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and/or Zoom is required.
• Familiarity with professional social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter), is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in computer science or a related technical discipline. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.
• Must be a U.S. citizen residing within the continental United States.

Your Reward

Senior Trusted Advisors have substantial independence in managing their work with IT Specialist Advisory Services. The role is primarily remote and allows qualified advisors to organize their schedules with limited day-to-day supervision. Advisors may also leverage the IT Specialist Network platform to build industry visibility and generate consulting and sales opportunities. Trusted advisors may optionally participate in a stock-option grant effective upon execution of the ITSN partner agreement, with a potential path to co-founder status subject to the applicable agreements and maintain a continuous business relationship with ITSN.

Transparency

The role is compensated on a pay-for-performance basis and includes eligibility for a stock-option offering upon execution of the ITSN partner agreement; it is not an equity-only opportunity. The position is intended for experienced advisors seeking to build a substantial income, professional visibility, and a potential path to co-founder leadership status. ITSN is also developing an AI-focused spin-off centered on a copilot platform or model designed to complement the ITSN’s advisory services, supporting client technology research and decision-making.
